Things are easier to manage when kept simple, so there's no flashy gimmicks, high overheads, or running costs which would all inevitably be passed onto you by a larger contractor. Estimates and quotes will not be based on the size of house you live in, or what kind of car you have parked in the driveway, but please expect to pay the going rate for a days labour and to cover the cost of materials.

For added peace of mind, all our work receives a walkthrough on completion ensuring you are completely happy with the finished product before settlement is requested.
We believe no plasterboard should be untouchable or too difficult to tape.
As long as it is hung securely and not broken, then it's possible. Unusual and awkward plasterboard is our speciality and any drywall, whatever shape or size will be finished to your specifications. We are happy to work alongside your own tradesmen and any enquiries for tenders in all types of construction will be considered.

We are small enough to be responsive to your individual requirements, yet big enough to provide a reliable service on larger building site contracts. Automatic taping tools and drywall sanders are used as they remove most harmful particles from the jobsite so you can be assured that your job will be dealt with in a manner compliant with current health and safety regulations.

Top Notch Taping is a small sole trading business run from home and based in Prestonpans, East Lothian. Alex Paterson has over 18 years hands on experience in the taping trade and began operating as Millennium Drywall Company in 1996.
